I can't remember when I felt so proud of our country.
As I watched our 44th president get sworn in I can say I felt TRULY proud.
I missed some of it sadly but I caught the rest.
I tried to get a wiggly E to watch with me....didn't happen.
Zenny watched in his class courtesy of his teacher and of course Internet.
Now I can truly look at my boys in the eye and tell them with hard work they can be ANYTHING they want to be...Even President of the United States.
In the Jan. 18,2009 Comic strip of B.C. they wrote this poem:
I Wonder if she knew, in fact,
waiting for the bus,
defiance of a single Act,
would cause such a fuss.
Could she have foreseen the Grace,
Boldly seated there, that hope and patience
might Embrace a Slightly larger chair.
