Last year I still had Little E, now they both leave all day.
Mind you this thought has had me crushed.
I love spending my days with them, until yesterday.
Whine, whine, whine, bicker, bicker, bicker.
I started to count the days until school, yup they really got to me yesterday.
So what to do?
I chunked them outside with the sprinkler and let them burn off that energy!
They'd stop the sprinkler count to 3 and let go and see if they could out run the spinning sprays.
Then in what I call "country style"', decided it's 6 o'clock I will bathe them here and now, in the kiddie pool.
And that's just what I did! Saved me some time :).
The boys whining actually only got them 2 strikes so they were able to eat their lollipops from Six Flags after they ate all of their dinner.
I must of been out of my mind to buy them this???
I blame it on the exhaustion from walking all over the amusement park.
(And NO mom's they didn't eat the whole thing, can you imagine the belly ache if they had?)
If they want something like this lollipop, they have to earn it by not getting 3 strikes in one day.
They love to stay at Zero but yesterday they cut it close.
I do give them some chances but there have been many consequences.
One day a single store visit gave them each 3 strikes for bad behaviour, so I bought them no chocolate milk.
They cried, I explained I would not reward bad behaviour.
An elderly gentleman gave me a "good for you" nod I nodded back an "I know" nod, words never exchanged.
Back to the strikes.... now that they KNOW that 3 strikes means business so for my little clan the process works.

Dug's been driving me crazy. It seems that he's always right next to me...practically hanging on me and that kid is HEAVY! I feel guilty but I've been counting down the days till school starts. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one!
You guys are just now starting to count down? My counting down started when Piper turned 2! LOL
