Sprouts

Yesterday evening the boys came in from the backyard all excited.
They insisted I come and see.
When I went out they pointed to their hanging planters and wanted me to see that their seeds were sprouting.
I'm so happy my boys take interest in such things.
Though, they have been bummed out that no birds have taken to their See thru bird houses.

Here's a pic of my onions.
I have to research more...not sure when I should pull them.

And my cilantro.
I know what these babies are going to be used for besides salsa....beans!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Ohhhh I want a garden. I tried planting some seeds but we have some squirrel like animals (they look kinda like squirrels but aren't) and they've been eating EVERYTHING I plant. I found little holes all over my garden...I am going to try planting some wildflowers to see if those at least make it. Yesterday, they got into my little peach tree and ate all the fruit. Then after he was done, he sprawled out on the fence and took a nap!!!

Oh NO! Take a picture of it I want to see.
If its not a squirrel I'm curious to see what it is.

Nah, it's a squirrel! I was thrown off by it's chunkyness! I took a picture and will post it on my blog as soon as I upload it!
