Weekending.

Had a very full weekend. Starting with the Bridal Shower Tea Party Tonya and I threw for our cousin Aubrey.
It went so smooth with the exception that we found a swear word in one of the songs we were playing for background music...oops.

The party favors, filled with mmmmm...chocolates.

Another pic of party favors and scrolls that gave helpful hints on different ways to use tea, great idea Tonya!

Bride-to-be in her Tea party hat decorated with a veil.
I think she really enjoyed our little party event.

A few of the yummies, Lemon cupcake bites and raspberry ganache cupcakes..soooo yummy.

Hey, is that person not lifting a pinky??
Pinkies up everyone.

Desserts again....can you tell what my favorite part of this party was???

T and I are super nerdy! We were so excited when the honey dipper was used for the first time!
I had never seen one in actual use before.

Lovely tea cups and saucers courtesy of John (Tonya's husband).
He did all the Op shopping for us and picked out a beautiful array of pieces.
Thanks John your taste is impeccable.
All us ladies oooo'd and aahhhh'd.

A Bridal shower isn't a bridal shower with out games.
Games and pretty ladies, the house was filled with pretty gals all prettied up. Here are two out of the bunch.

The party was a success! And I want to thank our husbands.
Tonya and I put in the work but they paid for it...yup they sure did.

Of course our weekend ended with the boys first trip to Six Flags.
Or like Z likes to call it "More flags, more fun."
My guys checking to see if they can all get on the "Vibora" translates to "Snake" but Nick still calls it the "Bobsled" (did I spell that right??)

Looking cute, next to the Sombrero ride.
Z got on with Pop's. I asked Little E if he wanted to get on too, he then gave me a crazy eye!
There was no way he was getting on that ride.

Another ride Little E wouldn't get on was the Aquaman, which happens to be my favorite super hero. Why? I really don't know, have liked the character since I was a kid. Maybe because he can swim and I can't??
So I got on with Z.
He LOVED IT!!
And though I was already drenched he HAD to stand on the bridge.
Oh what a mother does for love.

The caption actually reads "US DRY!"

Look at the gentleman below the word "Look".

Us VERY wet. Now look at the Man now!
I was so wet my underpants took all day to dry!!
As for Z, all he could muster up was "AWESOME!!"
All I could say was "I hope I don't chafe."

My little train engineers.
Little E looks nervous. Needless to say he's our Chicken Little.
Oh Little E this ride only goes like 1 mph.

All great things had to come to an end.
Mom's underpants almost completely dry and Z looks lovingly at his favorite ride.

And Little E is horribly exhausted.
So he gets a much needed boost from Pop's.

Now they're asking for a zoo trip......OY VEY!!

How fun! We went to six flags this summer too and it was Dugs first time. It was exhausting but so fun.

Too much fun. Way too much. As sad as I am to thinkin of the day I won't have babies/toddlers in the house, I SO can't wait for family outings like that! Looks like you guys had such a great time - even if you did have to stand there & get sprayed by that icky water. ;)
